2023 Spring Trend Guide || Ultra-Delicate
1 || Ruched Dresses
One of the prettiest styles this season. We have spotted them almost everywhere on the runways and the streets alike. Ruching is basically an assemblage of fabric strips, pleated, fluted, or bunched in concert to produce an undulating, rippling effect. The romantic effect and fabric detailing leaves you with the perfect piece whenever you want a special look. Whether it is a side-seam ruching, gathered-tie or pleated bust a ruched piece will surely add a dreamy and alluring touch to your looks.
2 || Balletcore
Designers don’t seem to get enough of the soft side of the ballet this spring. That said, we will still see a lot of ballet flats (which we can’t complain about) alongside other ballerina-inspired pieces like the flowing tendrils and draping at Blumarine, bodysuits, dolls like dresses, and head-to-toe calming pastel looks. This trend had its influence on everything even activewear in the shape of scoop-neck backs with support bands, and stirrup leggings, and there’s the occasional unitard with fresh cutouts.
3 || All Day Nightwear
Laces, sheer and PJ-inspired looks were big on 2023’s spring runway. So we are expecting to see lots of cutouts with alluring going-out outfits that draw inspiration from lingerie replacing crop tops this spring.
4 || From Corsages to Beyond
Forget the cliché florals of seasons past. This year, designers took the trend to the next level with stunning 3D floral embellishments that truly wowed. From Magda Butrym’s intricate rosette choker to Loewe’s showstopping Anthuriums, floral motifs have never looked so fresh and exciting.
