Les Createurs by Sirine
Nestled amongst the vibrant cultural scene of the Middle East, Les Createurs stands out as a force for good. This isn’t your average exhibition; it’s a transformative platform that empowers female designers and artists, fostering a space for their creativity to flourish.
Born 18 years ago from the vision of Sirine Abu Ghazaleh, Les Createurs has blossomed from a local showcase to a cross-cultural regional phenomenon. This year, the spotlight shines not just on Lebanese, Jordan, and Palestinian talents, but also on designers and artists from Egypt.
Adding a touch of glamour to this year’s event is the highly anticipated launch of Karen Wazen’s sunglasses line. The Lebanese-British entrepreneur, known for her infectious style, is set to unveil her latest collection within the Les Createurs showcase.
But Les Createurs is more than just exhibiting beautiful design. This year, they’re taking a powerful philanthropic stance for Gaza by collaborating with MMAG Foundation and APN, a non-profit organization championing the preservation of Arab nations’ natural resources. Proceeds from the art exhibition will go towards supporting agriculture in Gaza, which in addition to its torment, is facing immense environmental challenges.
The magic of Les Createurs lies in its multifaceted approach to empowering women. Les Createurs provides a launchpad for female designers and artists, giving them the visibility and recognition they deserve. This platform fosters their careers and paves the way for future generations. Les Createurs breaks down cultural barriers, fostering a space where diverse artistic voices can mingle and inspire each other. This exchange promotes understanding and appreciation for the rich tapestry of artistic expressions in the Middle East.
Beyond the artistic elements, Les Createurs is trying to address the needs of Gaza by donating parts of its proceeds to assist in Gazas’ education, healthcare, and access to clean water challenges. This is accomplished through organizations like King Hussein Cancer Foundation, Remember Me, Tadamon, and ETA, to name a few, who are working tirelessly to address these critical issues.
Les Createurs isn’t just an exhibition; it’s a movement. It’s a celebration of female empowerment, artistic brilliance, and a commitment to collaboration toward a brighter future.
The exhibition will take place at Abdali Business District from June 5th to 8th, from 11 am to 8 pm. Don’t miss out!
