Recommended Cellulite Treatments in Amman

A lot of women struggle with cellulite, regardless of their size or activity level. Women naturally have more subcutaneous fat than men. Cellulite is trapped fluids or fat under the skin and between the connective tissues.

Three factors make you predisposed to cellulite; genetics, lifestyle and age. Unfortunately, with age, the skin becomes thinner and loses collagen and therefore, the cellulite becomes more visible. Drinking water on an empty stomach is the best thing you can do to flush out the toxins in the body and reduce water retention. Certain foods help fight cellulite like chili, dark chocolate, pineapple, sweet potato, carrots, kale, ginger, nuts, papaya, blueberries, salmon, green tea and hummus.

Exercise can definitely reduce the appearance of cellulite but will not completely eliminate it. A daily routine of using a body scrub, preferably coffee-based, assists in the removal of toxins from the body. Another good habit to form would be to use the foam roller before or after exercise to get rid of wastes and excess water that is trapped in the body. Massaging the problem area using a fascia blaster or pinching the surface area enhances the circulation and reduces the appearance of cellulite. Applying anti-cellulite creams can help but is not enough on its own.

The good news is that if you are impatient and would like to seek a quick fix solution, there are several available non-invasive treatments that combat cellulite.  Most cellulite treatments will require about 3-5 sessions to be effective.

Cellulite is one of the trickiest alterations to treat. Even in this era of science and technology, it is still difficult to achieve consistent and long-lasting results. The main reason for this is its recurrence. You can improve its appearance, but after that, you will have to be always on your guard and do some maintenance treatment, or it will crop up again.  It can sound discouraging but is the plain truth. However, if you are determined and willing to invest some time and money in it, you can keep cellulite under control.

One of the most effective methods is the vacuum radio frequency therapy.  The vacuum uses suction and pressure to release the fluids trapped in the fat cells and the radio frequency works by heating the connective tissues, and improving the collagen production, and therefore, skin tightening and ultimately, less visibility of cellulite.

Mesotherapy

Cellulite Treatments

Another favored method is mesotherapy. This technique involves the injection of vitamins, enzymes and sometimes hormones to promote fat burning and skin, tightening, after which the cellulite becomes less visible.

Onda

Cellulite Treatments

A popular device in Jordan is now the Onda. It uses special microwaves that target fat cells to reduce localized fat deposits. The waves target connective tissues between the adipose lobules the more advanced stages of cellulite. The device is used for the disposal of fat through the metabolic system and also works on skin-tightening. This is more comfortable than radio frequency as it uses cool waves instead of heat and is believed to reach deeper levels of stored fat.
