Friends Reunion Is Out Tomorrow || No It’s Not A New Episode
After months of rumors and anticipation, the long awaited ‘Friends’ reunion is finally here. The cast was set to gather for a special on HBO’s streaming service, HBO Max, to honor the iconic sitcom’s 25th anniversary. Tomorrow; Thursday, May 27th is the big day where “The One Where They Get Back Together” will be streaming on HBO Max around midnight Pacific time.
Our six favorite friends will be coming back together on the original Friends studio testing their knowledge of the show, rereading their lines and joining an interview with James Corden in front of a live audience.
All stars will appear as themselves not in characters, in an April 2 interview with Graham Norton, David Schwimmer told the talk-show host: “I’ll be myself. I’ll be David”. There’s nothing scripted; we’re not in character. We’re all ourselves, the real people, although there is one section of it that I don’t want to give away, but we all read something.
It’s the first time all six cast members have been together in one room in 17 years. A few of the cast spoke out about how emotional the reunion was, with Jennifer saying: ‘Oh God, how are we going to get through this alive, without just crying our faces off?, Courteney said: ‘I was flooded with 10 years of irreplaceable memories’ and Matt admitted that the reunion had been a bit ‘melancholy,’ while Lisa acknowledged it was an ’emotional’ time for them.
Viewers can watch the Friends reunion with their real-life friends through a virtual watch party on Scener. Users will need to create a profile at Scener and have an HBO Max subscription to watch. Could we be any more EXCITED!!
