Skinvive || The Latest Injectable Treatment for Boosting Your Skin

Hydrating and smoothing are the two secrets for glowing and radiant skin. The latest skin booster does exactly that. Enter Skinvive, a new injectable treatment that enhances skin glow without adding fullness. Here is everything you need to know.

What Is Skinvive?

Skinvive is the first FDA-approved injectable with microdroplet hyaluronic acid exclusively for smoothing cheeks. Unlike other fillers that add volume, Skinvive focuses on boosting skin hydration for a better overall texture. What makes Skinvive unique among other hyaluronic acid fillers is that its hyaluronic acid is not cross-linked. This gives it a lighter and more viscous structure, making it ideal for superficial injections.

Skinvive is injected below the skin’s surface using a microdroplet technique for instant rejuvenation. The use of microdroplet spreads means that one will only need two to three cubic centimeters of product to treat the face.

What Does It Do?

The main benefits include smoother-looking skin and a radiant glow from within. The injection of hyaluronic acid will make your cheeks skin appear smoother, softer, and more hydrated. The treatment will also boost your body’s hyaluronic acid levels which tend to decrease with age and other environmental factors like sun exposure.

Are You A Candidate?

If you are anything above 21, you are a candidate. People with fine lines, wrinkles, or rough skin on the cheeks benefit the most. Avoid this treatment if you are allergic to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine, or the Gram-positive bacterial proteins used in Skinvive.

What To Expect (before, during, and after)?

To avoid any extra bleeding or bruising you want to refrain from taking aspirin, ibuprofen, or blood thinners for at least a few days before the treatment. Avoid drinking alcohol the night before and drink lots of water pre and post treatment.

Although the treatment is not relatively painful, some patients prefer using a topical numbing cream for a more comfortable experience. The whole process can take up to 45 minutes.

To sustain your newly radiant skin, it’s recommended to undergo the treatment every six months.
