This season’s trends were all about celebrating life and having so much fun, and nothing speaks fun more fluently than beach days. Designers are trying to tell us that we still can wear our swimwear even if we can’t go to the beach. This trend comes as a natural result of a couple of seasons without beach holidays. So if you are not water-side, experiment with a medium-coverage top and pair it with a short-sleeved button-down, or offset your high-waisted trousers with a cropped rash guard for a resort-ready look.

Belt It 

The belt made its way into our bathing suits too. It is an effortless way to take your swimsuit from the beach to a pool dinner. While some brands went for the literal way of belting their swimsuit others took the trend to the next level and had a creative take on the trend. 

Crochet 

Seen at a number of runways, crochet bikinis will be taking over this beach season obviously. Choose a bright crochet swimsuit to rock the trend. 

Fun Accessories

When it comes to swimwear, the more minimal the swimsuit the better. But this season’s trends made us look at things from another perspective. We have seen a lot of metallic golden circles attaching the two sides of spandex and you know what? It looks extremely cool and it doesn’t affect the functionality of our bathing suits. 

Cutouts 

We believe that an opening here and there makes will make you the coolest girl on the beach. Do you agree? Remember that a little cutout is enough to rock the trend, you don’t have to go as far as Sports Illustrated models.

Ties 

Who says no to a super strappy swimsuit? Very simple yet very cool. This season, straps are not limited to two pieces bathing suits only, be prepared to see string styles combined with one-piece silhouettes too.
